Concrete
Whether it is simple kerbing or major concrete pours associated with bridge abutments or marine structures, we have the in-house technical expertise and experience to complete concrete works to a very high standard. Several of our staff have the skills to fabricate and erect formwork and steel for complex structures such as stairs, headwalls, major footings and suspended floors.


Minor Civil Works
Regarding minor civil works, we have a wealth of demonstrated experience in small civil projects. Recently completed projects range from simple 300m2 car park reconstruction at Aldinga; to a new 1500m2 site at Victor Harbor, containing car parks, Insitu concrete retaining wall and brick paving, and associated soft landscape.
Civil Tech has demonstrated experience of over 30 years in concrete and civil construction, completing works ranging from major pipelines and marinas to new roads, culverts replacements. Civil Tech has particular expertise in constructing new or upgraded bridges of all sizes, from simple timber pedestrian bridges to large suspended-deck concrete road bridges.
Regarding major civil works experience, Civil Tech has most recently completed 700m of the new highway for Copper Coast Council at Kadina, and are in the middle of a new boat ramp and breakwater at Emu Bay. In between, in the past 12 months, we have completed:

4 bridges for local Councils, (including the 54m long swing bridge at Gilberton),

a PLEC undergrounding scheme at Minlaton,

breakwater and boat ramps at Pt Hughes and Cowell

major and minor stormwater culvert replacements across the Fleurieu Peninsula

currently installing 1300m of new stormwater culverts (ranging from 600mm to 1200mm diameter at depths of up to 4.0m) for the Town of Walkerville., along with associated rain gardens and road reconstruction.

Over the past 5 years, Civil Tech has completed major streetscape upgrades at Goolwa, Aldinga, Mt Compass, and Prospect, winning awards for the Mt Compass project.

Civil Tech generally to Civil Tech to continually broaden our skill base and improve the service we can offer our clients. undertake works without recourse to subcontractors, preferring to put resources in the ongoing training of our staff, and mixing the teams up to ensure all can learn from the extensive experience of our senior supervisors.
This enables Civil Tech to own and maintain a broad range of construction equipment, with excavators ranging from 1.8 tonnes to 33tonne, as well as a wealth of assorted loaders, skid-steers, dump trucks, rollers etc. We have rock breakers and augers in various sizes to suit the excavator fleet, as well as large and small volume pumps, vibratory equipment ranging from excavator hopak to plate vibrators, specialised concreting equipment, heavy generators and even floating barges for work on lakes and waterways.

Civil Tech’s staff all have formal traffic management training, and we maintain our own suite of traffic management signage and equipment, giving our client’s flexibility and cost-effectiveness solutions to subcontract traffic management services.
