River Bank Stability Tainmuntilla River Torrens

During the winter months, construction of 200m of bank stabilisationon the edge of the River Torrens at Hackney, including reinstatement of linear trail bike path commenced. 


The scope of works included location and protection of all existing services and infrastructure, traffic management and traffic control, control and minimization of all construction nuisances (noise, odour, traffic, dust, vibration and others), soil erosion and drainage management; earthworks including excavation and compaction,  loose rock beaching, grouted rock ramp construction, path relocation and reinstatement; installation of gabions, tree protection and removal, installation of erosion control matting, and reinstatement of garden beds.
