Description:
Civil Tech Pty Ltd delivered the design and construction of a new pedestrian bridge and access ramp at Horwood Avenue Reserve and Fourth Creek Nature Play Trail, enhancing accessibility and connectivity in this recreational space.
Key elements of the project included the demolition of the existing bridge, followed by the design and construction of a new DDA-compliant bridge with an integrated Tri 1 deck and balustrade system. A new southern ramp was also constructed to improve inclusive access.
Additional works involved the relocation of an existing irrigation system, reshaping of the northern footpath, and relocation of two existing signs to suit the new layout.
This project demonstrates Civil Tech’s ability to deliver functional, accessible, and community-focused infrastructure in natural and recreational settings.
