Civil Tech Pty Ltd delivered a comprehensive Design & Construct solution for the City of Mitcham, addressing site constraints including the management of contaminated soils.

Based on the City’s original concept, Civil Tech refined the design by optimising site levels, redesigning the stormwater system, and realigning pedestrian paths to meet DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) accessibility requirements. A key feature of the revised design was the insertion of a large natural rock retaining wall, which not only provided structural support but also enhanced the visual integration of the space into its natural surroundings.

Project scope included the demolition of existing homes, construction of a 39-space car park using both asphalt and permeable paving, an integrated stormwater detention, storage, and treatment system, and the installation of landscaping and lighting.

This project demonstrates Civil Tech’s capability to deliver sustainable, well-designed, and community-focused infrastructure in complex urban environments.
