Civil Tech Pty Ltd delivered a critical flood mitigation project at the Eastern Parade stormwater channel in Ottoway.

The works involved constructing a reinforced concrete flood retaining wall to raise the banks of the channel, significantly reducing flood risk to surrounding areas during a 1% AEP event. The project formed part of the broader Torrens Road Stormwater Management Plan and aimed to address localised flooding in this vulnerable catchment.

Delivered within a narrow and environmentally sensitive corridor, the project required careful planning, traffic and environmental controls, and precision execution. The completed structure enhances stormwater capacity, safeguards public infrastructure, and reflects Civil Tech’s capability in delivering resilient, high-performing water infrastructure.
