Civil Tech Pty Ltd undertook the replacement of road and pedestrian bridges within the Clare Caravan Park. These critical infrastructure upgrades addressed the ageing bridge structures, improving vehicle safety, pedestrian access, and ensuring continued safe operation within this high-traffic holiday park.

Key scope elements included:

• Demolition and safe disposal of the existing bridges

• Installation of precast bridge units with full barrier systems

• Construction of in-situ pavement slabs and edge piers

• Supply and installation of bollards, kerbing, guard rails, and anti-climb mesh

• Approach upgrades using asphalt and rubble paving for seamless integration with the surrounding road network

• Coordination of surveying, traffic and pedestrian management, and environmental controls throughout the works

Given the park’s operational environment, Civil Tech worked closely with Council and park management to minimise disruption, implementing staged works and ensuring the southern bridge closure was limited to two weeks, as per project requirements.

The completed bridges provide safe, durable, and low-maintenance structures, supporting the park’s ongoing operations and enhancing the visitor experience for both local and tourist traffic.
