Civil Tech Pty Ltd delivered a full intersection upgrade at Howard Street and Rosetta Street, Collinswood, transforming the junction into a safer, more efficient space for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.

This community-focused project involved the construction of a new roundabout, designed to calm traffic, reduce vehicle speeds, and enhance pedestrian safety at this key suburban intersection.

Key scope elements included:

• Construction of the roundabout and kerb buildouts to slow vehicle approach speeds

• Installation of improved median islands, kerb ramps, and new road surfaces

• Full line marking, public lighting upgrades, and irrigation for landscaping

• Coordination of telecommunication pit relocation and lighting installation with SA Power Networks

• Delivery of traffic management, environmental controls, and minimisation of community disruption throughout works

Civil Tech worked closely with Council, service authorities, and local residents to coordinate works in a busy urban environment, completing the project safely and efficiently between January and June 2024.

The completed intersection now provides improved road safety, enhanced pedestrian accessibility, and a more attractive streetscape in line with the City of Prospect’s urban renewal objectives.
