Civil Tech Pty Ltd completed the construction of a new shared-use path alongside Dequetteville Terrace, on the eastern edge of the Adelaide City, improving accessibility for both pedestrians and cyclists travelling through this busy connector route.

The project involved the demolition of the existing footpath, followed by earthworks, trench excavation and backfill, and concrete path construction. Additional works included supply and installation of service conduits, kerbing, and landscape maintenance. A comprehensive Traffic Guidance Scheme was implemented to ensure safety and access for both vehicles and pedestrians during and after working hours. Throughout the project, Civil Tech maintained close collaboration with SA Power Networks (SAPN) to ensure smooth integration of underground services and infrastructure upgrades.

This project highlights Civil Tech’s ability to deliver high-quality, urban shared-use infrastructure in coordination with multiple stakeholders, while ensuring minimal disruption in high-traffic city environments.
