Description:

Civil Tech Pty Ltd delivered a comprehensive car park upgrade at Victor Harbor Oval, enhancing access and functionality for community groups, schools, and sporting clubs.

This critical community infrastructure project involved transforming the existing car park into a safe, modern, and well-drained facility, supporting local schools, the Victor Harbor RSL, and the Victor Harbor Football Club.

Key scope elements included:

• Earthworks and pavement construction including asphalt surfacing, kerbing, and concrete footpaths

• Demolition of existing pavements and stormwater systems

• Installation of new stormwater infrastructure, including pipes, pits, and connections to existing buildings

• Creation of WSUD (Water Sensitive Urban Design) garden beds with planting and irrigation

• Line marking, signage, and bollard installation to improve safety and functionality

• Installation of lighting and electrical services, with connections to existing switchboards

• Tree protection, as well as removal of specified trees within designated areas

• Adjustments to fencing, service pits, and other surrounding infrastructure

• Full traffic management for vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists during works

• Management of erosion control, waste removal, and final site clean-up

Civil Tech coordinated closely with the City of Victor Harbor, the Victor Harbor High School, the RSL, and other stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption throughout the project, completing the works safely and efficiently.

The final result is a functional, safe, and environmentally sustainable car park, supporting community access to sporting and recreational facilities for years to come.
