Civil Tech Pty Ltd delivered a revitalised public realm project for the Port Pirie Regional Council as part of the Greening Port Pirie initiative.

The project enhanced key community spaces surrounding The Terrace, Memorial Drive, Memorial Oval and the adjoining school precinct, improving carpark infrastructure, pedestrian connectivity, stormwater management and streetscape landscaping.

Works included new pavements and shared paths, Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) tree inlet pits, kerbing, drainage upgrades, lighting, signage, street furniture and extensive landscaping.

Construction was carefully staged to maintain safe access for motorists, pedestrians, local businesses and the adjacent school, while minimising disruption throughout the project.

The completed project has created a greener, safer and more accessible precinct, improving stormwater outcomes, enhancing the local streetscape and providing a welcoming public space for the Port Pirie community.
