Civil construction works included the removal of overhead powerlines in the Minlaton main street. Scope covered more than 800m of trenching in limestone rock, primarily along DPTI controlled roads. Nearly 4000m of conduit was installed, along with assorted junction pits, street-lighting caissons, switchboard vaults, and stobie pole footings. Works were completed to SAPN’s satisfaction, with all conduits were roped, proofed and sealed. Reinstatement of roads and footpaths was completed to Council and DPTI standards.
