After a major storm, an existing pedestrian bridge was lost and adjacent banks were severely eroded. Civil Tech installed more than 70m3 of gabion baskets and new abutments, and assembled and installed a new Landmark bridge. Challenges included an exceptional high water table, which Civil Tech managed through an economical sump-and-drain dewatering system, allowing access for the installation of the gabions and bridge footings. The Construction works also included bank and path reinstatement.
