The scope of works Installation of 13m of new 1.5x1.8m box culvert across McHargs Creek Rd. Works involved demolition of old stone culvert, while protecting 2 very old elm trees in close proximity to the works. Council stipulated the road must be kept open at all times, meaning the works had to be carefully staged. Finishing works included 2.4m high insitu headwalls, as well as 30 tonne of rock retaining walls and scour protection.
