Tainmuntilla River Bank Stability - River Torrens

During the winter months, construction of 200m of bank stabilisation on the edge of the River Torrens at Hackney, including reinstatement of linear trail bike path commenced.


The scope of the works include the site establishment; location and protection of existing services and infrastructure (above and below ground level); dilapidation survey of site; traffic management and traffic control; control and minimisation of all construction nuisances (noise, odour, traffic, dust, vibration and others); submission of construction management plan, JSA’s, environmental management plan, safety plan, lifting plan; construction of temporary security fencing around construction sites, laydown areas, etc); soil erosion and drainage management; earthworks including excavation and compaction; loose rock beaching; grouted rock ramp construction; path relocation and reinstatement; installation of gabions, tree protection; tree removal; installation of erosion control matting; clean-up of the site including the removal and disposal of surplus spoil; reinstatement of upper garden beds to existing surface levels and removal of all debris from the site.
